Kellie Frank
Harney Food Systems Coordinator
Kellie Frank is a dedicated agricultural professional whose roots run deep in Oregon's farming community. Raised in Stanfield, Umatilla County, she developed her passion for agriculture through active involvement in 4-H and FFA before earning her BS in Animal Science with a minor in Business Administration from Oregon State University. After completing an internship with OSU's extension program in Pendleton, Kellie spent 13 years as a manager with the USDA's Farm Service Agency before choosing to prioritize family life and community involvement.
Today, Kellie manages the Burns Farmers Market, where she channels her passion for ensuring county-wide access to fresh, local food. She maintains an active greenhouse operation and enjoys gardening, canning, and fostering collaborative relationships within her community. When not working to strengthen local food systems, Kellie can be found tending to her diverse homestead, which includes cows, horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats, and spending quality time with family and friends.
