Abbie Villagrana

Range Management Specialist, Bureau of Land Management
Abbie Villagrana serves as a Range Management Specialist for the Burns Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and brings her passion for land stewardship to the High Desert Partnership board. Originally connected to HDP through an internship opportunity with Marcus Nichols at Treasure Valley Community College, Abbie has been a resident of Harney County full-time since January 2023, having first experienced the area during her college years beginning in 2021.
Her involvement with HDP has spanned various collaborative efforts including the Harney County Food Systems initiative, the Youth Changing the Community Collaborative, and the Harney County Wildfire Collaborative. Abbie joined the board to support and contribute to an organization whose work she deeply respects and values.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Abbie enjoys spending quality time with her husband Jonathon and their three dogs. She loves gatherings with family and friends and live music; classic rock concerts are her favorite. Active in community arts, Abbie shares her talents with the next generation by teaching tap and hip hop classes to teenagers at the local Hip Kidz dance studio.
