Kathy Rementeria
Board Member

Oregon Department of Human Services, Community Development Coordinator
Voting board member since 2008

Kathy believes The Partnership creates positive change by giving initiative participants a healthy place to influence the conversation and come to agreement on issues that affect diverse constituents in different ways. Kathy became interested in joining The Partnership through her work in the Oregon Department of Human Services, which introduced her to the power of people and organizations working together to impact community issues. Her experiences in volunteer management, project management, coalition development, networking, and creative thinking make her an asset to our board.

Kathy is a graduate of the Ford Institute Leadership Program and Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America (CADCA) Coalition Development, was a Ford Community Ambassador, and is a Ford Community Fellow. She gets great satisfaction from helping people reach their goals and from community and group development. When Kathy isn’t preoccupied with creating positive change in our community, you may find her working in her family’s small business, reading, doing a little gardening, working on home improvement projects, or traveling to places where she can walk on the beach.
